The BBC weather reporters are terrible for this. They all seem to do it.

The other annoying thing is silly phrases like "organised rain".
(Oh, and severe weather warnings every time a heavy shower is spotted on the horizon. How ever did we manage to stay safe in the 50's I wonder?)-

"Organised rain" is even more ridiculous! I think they write their own scripts too, which makes it even worse.

Quite pleasant here today, light clouds and sun...middling forecast for the weekend as usual...LOL...great big hugs...your photo looks horribly wintry...

It's not as bad as it looks. It isn't at all cold, and there isn't much wind either. There have only been a few drops of rain too.

It's quite warm and sunny here today(trying to be factual). However I do like a bit of bluster sometimes. I've never really thought about weather forcasts and their use of emotions before....I will be looking out for that now! lol

Once you're thinking about it, you realise how much they do it!
Cheers, Tom.

I see that you are on the Suffolk coast. That's not an area I know at all. What's it like?

Yes, be factual and not emotional.
