So Little Needed For Happiness

by SeasideMan @ 24/07/08 - 09:36:20

All he needs is his ball and me to throw it for him.

This is what happens when he loses his ball, which was floating off downstream:

He could only search for so long before getting tired. I love the moment where he disappears for a few seconds and then pops up on the bank.

Cheers, Tom.

Lovely!!! He looks so full of energy :)

He has limitless energy. I have just spent a sloid hour throwing the ball for him on the beach and he wasn't even flagging, although my arm was getting sore from the throwing.

Tom.

Love the way he dries himself off afterwards....guess he didn't find his ball then...:) GBHs...XX

No, that ball is floating off to the sea...but I had a spare :-)

Shep is having his summer holidays down on the sheep farm. He loves it there, and Dan does miss him.

I enjoyed the video, I love the last bit, when he turns to you and asks "Okay, so have you got another ball then?"

Thanks. Luckily I did have another ball :-)

I am officially as easily entertained a him.
Spent a very enjoyable few days playing bop-the-balloon volleyball at xmas. Was fricking great!

Cool :-)

It's great to be simply entertained, especially when it's something that keeps you fit too.

Maybe I should take up beach volleyball. I remember enjoying normal volleyball at school, but the beach variety looks like much more work...

He is indeed :-)

W a l k i e s time is definitely his favourite time of day...apart from food time of course.

There's no doubt that animal videos seem to always provide the top entertainment.

Yes, I wonder why that is. Perhaps it is because they have such comparatively simple existences.

My dog LOVES the water too....dogs really make me laugh when they swim, well, my dog does at least!

I agree, they look funny when they swim :-)

Especially with a ball in their mouths...

A great bit of filming - he's a very smooth swimmer. Most of them look quite ungainly. Like the bit where he rewards you for losing the ball by trying to find something yukky to roll in!

I think he's primarily drying off - finding something unpleasant to roll in is just a bonus for him :-)
