There wasn’t much entertainment specifically for children at this weekend’s festival, so I hope the organizers took notes.

I mentioned the band Circus Of Invention yesterday. This is they, almost obscured by happy people dancing along:

  Quite hard to categorize. They are a bit punky, a bit rocky, alternative, and very catchy. I'll see them again if they ever come back here again.

Oh i used to love the swing boats when i was a kiddie!

And those cages that you stood in and if you pushed and rocked hard enough they zoomed right over the top!

    I can just remember the older boys pushing and heaving with all their might to be the first to get them over the top, they were so competitive trying to impress the girls!

      No, I don't think I do. Huge steam-powered swingboats that seated about 40 people each end in rows. At full tilt, the boatd would be about vertical nad you kept feeling like you'd fall out.
