I thought it would be interesting to see six recent sunset pictures next to each others to show the different colours. The one colour I’ve never seen at that time is Green.
Next year, I intend to take a picture every day from the same place a few minutes before sundown and produce an album of the resulting 365 pictures.

Pro No Jen, I haven't enhanced the colours at all. I don't even have any software to do that with. The only one done unusually is the blue one, which I took when it was almost dark using a long exposure. The others were all just point and click. Nature really is stunning, isn't it!

What a wonderful project - but I bet you can't get Arts Council funding unless you put some pointless PC installations in it. Beauty alone is not enough these days - witness Tracy Emin's self-indulgent retrospective exhibition. I feel like embroidering a banner that says "For heaven's sake, get over it Tracy" and standing outside the gallery!
I once saw hints of green in a sunrise when there was lots of cirrus in the sky. I'll see if I can find it later...

I thought Aberystwyth was great when I went there about a month ago, but the beach smelt like seaweed and the stones were painful to walk on with nothing on your feet as they got stuck in between my toes!
My favourite point was the castle and there's a bench there where you get this massively clear view of the sea, bay and the headland.
Unfortunately I had a curfew as I went with my college and didn't see any sunset!

Pro Aber is nice, and the castle is great.
I actually live about 5 miles North of there in a small village called Borth. It has the same stone problem at high tide, but at low tide there is a huge expanse of golden sand.

When you click on the "add image" button when composing a post, select "Post image with link on largest size (Pop-Up)" from the "Link Options" list presented.
