A darkened room, a long exposure and a torch being swung round on the end of a piece of string. Not a great photograph, but I quite like the result. Not a brand new idea either, but I did think of it myself.
(just a short entry today as we have guests!)

Pro Interesting...very interesting...LOL...you could try spelling something out in the air and see what happens...has prospects...think I'd be nervous the torch would fly off the string swinging it round so vigorously...

There are photo groups on flickr who regretably do this kind of thing.
Another long exposure piece of bollocks is to fire the shutter and then throw the camera in the air, with someone to catch it, and see what you get.
Of course if you're going for the really banal you could do the night-time exposure with car headlights.
Now where did I put that learning curve?
