School Daze?
Admittedly, it’s been 24 years since I’ve been in education, but the differences are noticeable even after just one day. This whole first day has been spent filling out forms and discovering the Coleg policies on Equality, Discrimination, Health And Safety, Bilingualism, etc. and yada yada yada. It’s not finished yet either. Most of tomorrow will also be spent on these things. In fact, no actual learning related to the course will happen this week at all. Monday to Wednesday are all spent preparing for the “enrolment” on Thursday. All being well, I might even get Friday off.
It’s unfortunate that all this is going on whilst my lovely old grandmother is deathly ill.
