Nature really is awesome sometimes, isn't it?

It really is. Amazing how many people have told me they have never seen an English sunset. I wonder how they miss it.

If you live surrounded by buildings or hills, I suppose you mightn't see one. I find that a very sad thought.

From our house you can see the sunrise, but not the sunset as there is a hill, houses and trees in the way, but you still see the golden clouds before and afterglow, pink and purple streaks in the sky which is amazing in itself.
I think people are often so busy watching telly they never look out of the window or go for a walk even in the Summer and in the winter in London they are stuck in the tube or reading a newspaper on the train.

Good points. I'm glad I don't watch the telly any more. We still watch films on dvd, but that's all.

I know what you mean. There is something primeval in the effect the sun has on us.
