I can't stand the little feckers, but Helen get seaten alive by them if she gets near them. Thankfully, they're only about for about an hour a day.

The midges only seem to be around for 2 or 3 months of the year and even then only for an hour a day and in certain places, AND when it is hot and there is no wind. It's been hot and windless for the last week, so we've noticed them more than ever before.
