The rather lovely hedge in the above picture is along the edge of the student car park at my college: Coleg Ceredigion. The gardener deserves a pat on the back, and I suspect it’s probably the hippyish woman on the lawnmower whom I passed at lunchtime. It’s interesting that no signs of Autumn are yet visible on it.
I spent all day yesterday taking still-life pictures, and it was incredibly tiring. I haven’t worked that hard for a long time - my head was in bits by the end. I hope the end result is worth it. I have two rolls of developed film for my troubles that I hope to make some good prints from today. As long as there are 3 or 4 good photographs, I’ll be pleased. Even 2 good ones would do.
So, it’s into the dark-room at 9AM for me, and I’ll emerge blinking into the daylight like a sleepy woodland creature 4 or 5 hours later, hopefully clutching some pleasing photographs.
Cheers, Tom.
