Beautiful photos Tom!
Love the colours of Autumn.
I have albums of the Mamas and Papas...
LOVE THEM!!
Iv Sang this in amateur dramtics.... and even had a tambourine!!!-
- 11/10/08 @ 13:20:59
It is a great song, isn't it? A tambourine would go very well with it. I've just learnt the guitar chords to it, so let's see if I can sing it!

They are really rather gorgeous........
I was out in the sunshine today and truly marvelled at just how beautiful the trees are looking against such a lovely blue sky. The colours are not bleached by a harsh sun, but warm and golden.
Very inspirational. I never tire of nature-

I can only agree with you. The autumnal colours against a blue sky are just amazing. Nature has so many variations.

Impressively professional looking photo's ;
I was going to ask you if you've heard the bangles cover version of that , until I realised I was actually thinking of their version of simon & garfunkel's 'hazy shade of winter' !-
- 11/10/08 @ 21:32:29
I bet The Bangles would have made a good job of it. I know that both The Beach Boys and The Carpenters covered it.

Still waiting for the colours here to emerge - so slow around here!
What's wrong with a little Golden Brown?
-
- 11/10/08 @ 23:47:07
A little Golden Brown is very fine, but unfortunately I used that tune a while back. I used Autumn Leaves too. I have a few more in reserve, but I will run out soon!

As I read the title of this posting my mind immediately started singing that song! Weird eh!
We were out at 8am this morning and the mist was hanging over the trees while the sun tried to come out. It was so beautiful as the trees were all the colours you have photographed....beautiful Tom xx-

Those words at the start of that song are pretty much instantly recognisable. I was trying to think why that was, and the only reason I could come up with was that they are sung completely unaccompanied.
Your description of the morning sounds lovely.

Gorgeous!!! Wish Edinburgh had autumn colours going- it's just gone very quickly from green to dull brown- bypassing the orange, red and yellows. I'll live it vicariously though, thanks to your pics

An absence of high wind and recent sunshine has helped the colours remain for longer than usual.
