Unbelievable. There I was with what I thought was a good capture and what should appear on the picture but Shep. The chap in the picture was only slightly amused when I told him that his board was “brighter than the sun”. I’m not sure they were entirely happy to have their pictures taken either.

It is brighter than the sun- hurts my eyes! Shame, would have been a good capture.. Shep's blog's a good idea!

Good headline. It reminds me of some of the stories that appear in our (very mild) local paper, a recent example being "man late for work when bus doesn't arrive"

Do you have to ask permission of people to show they're photographs publicly? I thought you did now...somebody mentioned it to Davidjohn I think a while back...might be wrong but worth checking out...and this was a case where you should have booted Dan up the bum... GBHs...XXX

  No, I don't think I have to ask permission as it's in a public place and I'm not infringing on anyone's "reasonable right to privacy". I looked fairly deeply into this last year. Thanks for mentioning it again, it's a good idea to keep this in the mind of all photographers.

  Hehe, I can see how that would be fun. Dan is sat on the chair next to me right now. He looks like he'd like to have a blog. Shep is on the sofa behind me and he looks like he'd like one too.
