My apologies, let me explain. When I said "I'm spoiled", it meant that I have become accustomed to having a very good view and I must try hard to not forget that not everyone is so lucky. "Ay up" is just a greeting used in Northern England: it means "hello", in a friendly and jovial way.

You could say "Ta ta", "Cheers" or just "Bye" :-)

Tom, this is great! thanks a lot for the explanation! I have just gotten a camera. Now I can take all the pictures that I want. I said I even will take pictures of the mosquitoes (just joking). I'm waiting for the humminbirds and bananaquits but I think they are very shy and didn't appear today while I was there
