Leaf Sandwich Without Bread

Did you know that the sandwich wasn’t invented by John Montagu the 4th Earl of Sandwich? He just liked to eat them while playing cards as they didn’t make his fingers greasy. How strange would it have been if they’d called it a Montagu instead!

We live in Montagu road so I wonder if there is any connection mate,everyone assumes it should have an E on the end as well which is a bit strange , hope you are both well.

Dahn Sarf we have similar tit-bits which go by the name of 'Sarnies'.
These were invented/thought-of by Mike Sarn who was a 60's pop star. Who can forget his duet with a girl who became a famous actress.
Sarnies all round to any-one who can tell me who this was and what her famous catch phrase was.
