When I looked through my Glastonbury pictures, I was hoping to find one single image that best represented the festival. I couldn't find just one, so I'll make 2 or 3 posts that give different snapshots of what you can see as you wander around the 2 square Mile site. This is the first such snapshot:
This is the inside of the Hare Krishna tent. I'll cover lots more such snapshots tomorrow.

Pro Oh yes, it rained, but it was only really bad after midnight on Sunday night. We got wet then but it was OK!

Pro I think that's what most people used it for.It exudes calmness, and you get nice music and even free food too! They do occasionally make sermons though.

Like death and taxes, the Hare Krishna's are one of the certainties that you'll find at Glastonbury festival.
I used to go every year as a performer in the 80's when it was a smaller festival. I loved it and met so many wonderful people, a real education on others' lives.
I just go to smaller festivals now, I don't enjoy the mass, and the noise that a large gathering brings.
It is certainly a magical place and I'm so glad I had the experiences that only Glastonbury can bring.
That's a great photo, it gives you a feel of the calmness of the Krishnas' who surround themselves with beauty.

Pro I've been going on and off since 1984 myself and this year was just as good as any of the previous ones.
I like smaller festivals too, and I'll be going to the Borth Square Festival next month.
