This is a curious event. They block off the town centre and people come out onto the streets wearing mad outfits and drink themselves stupid whilst dancing to loud music. Great fun! Below is a small selection of pictures I took of people at this event last night.

Drunk people in fancy dress? Any excuse to get sloshed, I suppose. Same over here, festivals and holidays, just being used as an excuse to show off your drinking problem.

I'm afraid this non-drinker believes drunks are only "fun" to other drinkers (sober or otherwise)...plus, I've lost two friends to people driving home after having "fun," so I'm afraid I'm not ever going to be a hail-fellow-and-well-met person, when it comes to being around drunks.
