I'm trying to catch the seed! Only have this pink one....saw a bigger red one at a neighbour's - have asked him for some seed....might have to go and 'nick' some...
I'm sure he'll give me some!

Thanks, I was rather pleased with the leaf too. That was taken in strong morning sunlight and I was worried it would look washed out.

love the first one Tom, is it hibiscus?
-
- 06/07/09 @ 21:09:29
Hi Jules, it's a rhododendron I think. Glad you like them!
-
- 06/07/09 @ 21:29:51
It looks similar to the hibiscus, and your capture is brilliant. Well done not an easy medium to capture but you have indeed locked its essence in the image. Well done

I struggle with flowers, sometimes I go in close like there and sometimes a bit of distance is better. Lots of trial and error!

Worth the effort, look at the results!

Thanks Tom: Fabulous colours, almost unbeleivably healthy too!
