I like it a lot. It looks like one of the drains in the dunes below Harlech castle with Porthmadog in the background, I know it's not though. Excellent mate.
-
- 06/09/09 @ 22:30:04
Thanks very much, I appreciate that. It is very close to some dunes, so perhaps that explains the similarity.
-
- 06/09/09 @ 23:21:19
Lovely colours, brilliant lighting, great shot. Hope it pulls in a few prospective punters. If it doesn't, it's still a great shot.
-
- 06/09/09 @ 23:29:55
Thanks very much, that's good to know.

Yes! It's fabulous, and the colours are stunning.

Cheers - definitely one of my best efforts, I think.

Oh, that is really beautiful, Tom!

Thanks Nancy, one of my best efforts I think.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 07:05:35
You only need a Scotsman there showing his important bits

PS Beautiful view.-
- 07/09/09 @ 07:35:34
If I could get an under-kilt shot, I would!
-
- 07/09/09 @ 07:51:57
It is a wonderful photo, it is calm and the colors are beautiful.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 08:35:09
Thanks, I think I chose well then.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 08:37:19
Yes, you did! Do you want to sell these photo as postcards or only for private things?
-
- 07/09/09 @ 08:44:45
They aren't for selling, they are for publicity.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 08:56:08
Ah! I think it is a good publicity, also your sea and dawn photos.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 08:57:36
I'd like to use some sea pictures for publicity, but I think I need to show that I can do more than just land- and sea-scapes. A building perhaps, or a portrait.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 09:13:41
That is a good idea! The last exhibition I visited was about portrait, the photos were great. Maybe daily stuff like rubbish or funny situation are also good motives.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 09:19:49
That's a good idea!
-
- 07/09/09 @ 09:27:24
There are some artists who works with rubbish in Vienna, great things. An artist make art with nature things, like stones and he puts this on the road or in fields. He puts also puppies like your soldiers on streets and he tells stories about these plastic people. I think he is British or German. I do not know his name.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 09:31:13
There is a local artist here who makes sculptures from rubbish. They are really good.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 09:37:19
Yes I like the sculptures too. Maybe you can take some photos from his sculptures.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 09:38:21
I'm sure she wouldn't mind...
-
- 07/09/09 @ 09:42:00
Oh!
-
- 07/09/09 @ 08:21:19
It is a great choice of photo (without knowing what the other contenders were) I love the colour and the clarity of it. What are you going to do with the postcards??
-
- 07/09/09 @ 08:36:10
They are for advertizing my services. I was dubious about picking a landscape - for a while I considered using a portrait instead.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 09:06:37
I know what they are for, I meant where are you gonna advertise? Festivals and the like, locally that sort of thing? A portrait one might also be a good idea cos it is a personal thing x
-
- 07/09/09 @ 09:18:32
Yes, locally. Local businesses, friends, whatever I can think of. I think I must get some portrait ones done. One idea is to "borrow" some babies or children from a friend and take pictures of them.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 09:19:48
That is a great idea hun, people would lap them up, good luck with it x
-
- 07/09/09 @ 14:14:02
Wow, this is amazing! I love how the water seems to take you with it into the distance. It's very powerful.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 14:36:19
Thanks, that was my intention with this shot.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 20:14:34
Very good choice and a great advertisement of your skill

- 07/09/09 @ 20:35:29
Thanks Rosie. It looks quite acceptable when printed.
-
- 07/09/09 @ 21:31:10
Oh yes, yes, yes! One of my very favourites. When they are printed, please could I buy some?
-
- 07/09/09 @ 21:57:21
They are intended as advertizing rather than for sale, but I will happily post you one. If you want to PM your address to me, I'll send you one.
Do you think I should make them available for sale?
Tom.-
- 07/09/09 @ 22:19:38
Yes indeed, I think you should. Those are your masterpieces. However, you may have to get a license of some sort or another, and pay for that. Google it all up, because I am fearful there will be more than simply putting those lovely photos up as postcards, in your area.
The tourists would love all the photos we have seen here on your blog, Tom. JW xx-
- 07/09/09 @ 22:26:30
I think it would be legal as long as I'm declaring any revenue to the tax man. I'll have a big old think about it all, thanks JW.
Tom.

what beautiful colour, i feel quite calm looking at that.
-
- 09/09/09 @ 16:39:47
It pleases me to hear you say that - my intention was to make a scene that you could look at over and over again and still find it pleasing.
