We like the comedy series Father Ted in this household. There is one funny moment where Ted is trying to explain perspective to Dougal using small toy cows. Dougal can't get his head round how the big ones some distance away look the same size as the toy ones. I like this aspect of photography that means you can play with the scale of large and small objects.
The jellyfish is small; Dan is far away:

I understand your point on perspective
When I first saw the top photo I thought "a sculpture of a maiden's arm, shoulder and neck with face down and hair cascading over it 
I agree with the other commenters that the bottom pic resembles a 'resting lion' Xx

I love Father Ted. I love it when Mrs Doyle keeps falling past the window.
And when Father Dougal says it's raining out and there is atropical hurricane showing though the window - on craggy island - with palm trees bent to the groun!

That Father Ted episode is one of our favourites too. Embarrassingly, we can probably quote almost all of it!
