My apologies for the poor quality of the picture, but is that snow on those distant hills? Brrr! Very cold morning.
I was privileged to see a rather nice moon last night. Here it is (it gets slightly bigger if you click on it):

Pro I don't mind winter at all, in fact I quite like it. But I know the winter's are a bit colder round your way!

Pro And don't forget the 6 foot plus snowbanks! Sometimes the temp has gotten down to minus 40 Celsius with the wind chill. Very cold.
It is the freezing rain that I don't like as well. x

There can NEVER be a bad moon rising although I do love that song. We have just come out of a snow belt 30 minutes drive west of us in the foothills of the Rockies. Here there is a wee drift of snow in the fields but not the 5-6 inches we found yesterday. Yes winter has come to the far north!

Pro I agree. I saw a piece of Dew Art once. An artist had flattened the long grass in a park in a beautiful pattern, and mist was hanging over it. Absolutely amazing. I saw it on the way to work and just stood there staring at it for what felt like ages.

Hey! your giving me ideas, the grass in my garden is so long i could go make my own crop circles now and take pics tomorrow morning claiming aliens have landed during the night.

Pro Probably not, that's the mountains of Snowdonia and it always gets colder there. It's not called Snow-donia for nothing!
Like the song very much also the pic of the moon. You can keep the snow on Snowdonia . I like a clear path to walk on.

Pro Good point about the paths - too many people slip over because the councils don't look after the pavements as well as they do the roads.

We go to Spain for the whole of December, you can have the White Christmas, I hope that we don't get one!

Hi, yes, we are fortunate! We do take a lap top with us, sometimes we work in England, sometimes we work in Spain. He spends two or three hours on the Computor running the business, usually while am am Siesta-ing, then the days our own!
We don't have a bad life!
