My earlier report was over-optimistic. There are great problems in some areas, as the 12 pictures below show.
This is the road leading towards the animalarium:
This is where our friends Mikey, Grace and their 3 lovely daughters live (the house is flooded):
This is the main road into the village, with the Brynowen caravan park on the right:

This is a wider shot down the main road:
The launderette awash (thanks to Trudie for the pun):
The allotment is fine as it is on a slope, but this is the track leading to the allotment on the left, with a field normally containing horses on the right:
This is the same field as in the previous picture, with the houses of Borth at the back. The sea is just the other side of the houses:
The same field with Lauren (on the right) and her friend (sorry, I forgot to get your name) on the left:
Facing away from Borth, the other side of the river Leri:

An unexpected consequence:
Spirits seem to be generally high.
My commiserations to Mikey and Grace and all the others who have serious problems to deal with. I hope they can get things sorted out. There are plenty of us in the village happy to help if help is needed.
