I get excited when i see anything out of the norm birdwise as all we seem to get round here is pigeons and magpies - so when i see a robin or a little blue tit it sets me up for the day!&lt;br&gt;

Get fascinated with something as a child and then pursue it for the rest of your life with ever-increasing levels of knowledge. That was until a few Christmas's ago when my little brother spotted a little red breasted robin in our garden. He was so excited about seeing this bird and looked out the window for over an hour watching this little bird play in our garden.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
And it got me thinking, Was I ever that excited about seeing birds when I was his age? And maybe that's it. Maybe the reason these people get excited about birds maybe reverts back to times in there childhood.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Or maybe not at all....
